Director’s Message

Unfortunately, over the last two years, many demining agencies in Afghanistan have had less funding for demining operations. This has meant reducing capacity with the demining organizations. ATC was forced to reduce its demining workforce by 1500. I hope to re-employ these deminers in the future; however it is dependant on funding for demining projects becoming available.

I would like to thank all the countries which have directly or indirectly assisted in the establishment of ATC; all my colleagues, friends, sister organizations for their continued support and cooperation; and I am sincerely grateful for those organizations and donors who have provided funds which enabled ATC to complete this number demining projects. It is with respect that I wish to formally praise and thank the following people, organizations and agencies:
